Don't fall over in shock!

Seriously, I mean it, don't fall over. I know your shocked..... me too! I actually stamped! *shock*

I am doing a workshop next weekend. My first one in a few years. So I sat down to come up with projects. The hostess wants Valentines projects. The first one I came up with is this one:

My sweet friend Belinda (who also happens to be my SU! upline) let me borrow her Unfrogettable set (I seriously need to buy this set). For this adorable (if I do say so myself) card is made using Certainly Celery CS, Rose Red CS, Basic Black CS, and Shimmer White CS. I stamped the frog onto the SW CS using Staz On ink (it holds watercolor better and doesn't run and the shimmer CS is gorgeous when used with water coloring). I used the Watercolor Crayons and Aquapainter to color the image. Then I mounted the image onto Basic Black and then Rose Red. I stamped Happy Valentines Day using the StazOn on to the bottom of the Rose Red piece and added some gingham black ribbon. I mounted the piece onto the CC card base using dimensionals. Less then 5 minutes! Love it! I am going to get some gogglie eyes and add those but I need to pick them up from the craft store.

I made another card but didn't quite like it so I changed it. I need to get some ribbon to add to it but as soon as I do I will post that one. I want to make the hostess gift using the Free & the Brave set (hostess is also a military wife and she has her house decorated in Americana so I thought it would be nice) but I didn't know if I would get the set in time so I came up with something else just in case.

I used the Time Well Spent (Level 3 hostess set). Colors used are Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal, and Real Red. I love how these turned out. Here is a close up of the card:
I am happy to report that I will be receiving The Free & the Brave on Tuesday so I will have plenty of time to hopefully put together the gift I have in my head. I will post that when I finish with it. For now, I need to go and put together a list of things I am making for my Pampered Chef open house tomorrow. I have everything bought for it, I just need to have a list of what needs to be made and when so it's all ready. Have a fabulous weekend!
