Anyhow, I went with the same basic design as the white snowflake ornament card I did a week ago, but gave it it's on look.

I cut out an oval template using the Colluzzle, then I attached it to my Whisper White card base. I then inked up this gorgeous image from Stampin' Up!'s Sleigh Bells Ring with StazOn Black ink and stamped it so that part of it was overlapping the oval I had cut. Then I did the reverse masking technique (faux framing) with a sponge dauber and Bashful Blue ink just around the edges. I went into the scene a little bit more in parts such as around the church. It gives the illusion of a serene christmas scene. Then I colored it using the watercolor pencils from SU! and used the aquapainter to watercolor parts of it. The bricks on the bridge were done in two different colors to give it a more real look. Then I added dazzling diamonds to the lake under the bridge using a paint brush (so that the glue went only where I want it to) and liquid glue. I added silver cording at the top and stamped the sentiment from the set to the bottom right. Seriously, I wish you could see this in person! I made 5 of these to go in a card pack for the craft sale and I will make 5 more for a second pack. The best thing about doing these Christmas cards for this thing, If they don't sell, I just use them for my own personal Christmas cards. *wink*
