Been too long

So I was informed by my mom that it has been a while since I last blogged. Oops! You know it's bad when your mom starts telling you to blog more. *insert blush here*

So I have a post for you today. Sorry it isn't stamp related but I do plan to stamp today so I should have projects to show you in the next couple of days. This post is to show off my cake that I made in class last night. I am now in course 3 of the Wilton Cake Classes and it's fabulous! Although with my spinal cord condition rolling the Fondant isn't so easy but the end result is totally worth it. At least I think it is. This is my very first ever Fondant cake. What do ya think?

Top view of the cake (the shiny parts are where the Fondant got wet from adding the bow. I had more curliques on there but I didn't like them so I took them off)

Another view of the cake. The class book wanted the centers of the flowers to be different colors, but I didn't want to make that many icing colors.

And there you have it, my very first Fondant cake. I am so pleased with the end result. Which is saying something considering I never like anything I do.
