Wall Art

I was at Walmart the other night and found some great frames on clearance. I just had to snatch some up to create some fun wall art. These were so simple and easy to create.

All that I did with these was stamp the Garden Sillouettes stamp set in Black Staz-On onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Then I mounted each one into a frame. The whole set took less then 5 minutes which included taking the frames out of the packaging and cutting the cardstock and everything. I absolutely love how these turned out.

My next one that I did was this Family Frame:

I bought some wooden letters at Hobby Lobby a couple of months ago with the intention of altering them for my mom for a present. The letters I bought happened to come in a pack of two so I had enough to do one for me as well. Well I went months with them in my drawer and never did anything with them. When I found this great frame at Walmart for $5 I knew that it was time to pull out the letters. I used the Brocade Backgrounds (SU) paper to alter these along with some ribbon and silk flowers from Hobby Lobby and some Primas. I used some Cream CS that I got from HL as the background. I now have this hanging on my wall above some family pictures.

My mom's will be in Americana colors. I just need to get the right papers for hers. I thought I had some good ones in the colors I needed but I don't. I hope I have inspired you to see what you can do with a frame. I did get some other frames but haven't used those yet.
