Some Cards and BLOG CANDY!!!

I have a few cards to share with you, and some blog candy. Don't have a lot of time today, I am busy packing and getting ready for my trip. My flight leaves tomorrow. YAY!! I am so excited!

Anyhow, here are the cards I have for you:

This first one is one I did for last weeks LSC on SCS. The challenge was to use only eyelets, one peice of ribbon, one peice if designer paper, cardstock, ink, & Stamps. And we had to use the color blue. Well, I forgot about that part till it was too late. When I tried to add blue it ruined the car so I had to rip it apart and redo it. I will try it again with blue at a later date. I liked this challenge because it got me to use my eyelets which I haven't used in a long time!

Supplies-
Stamps: Winter Cheer (TAC)
Paper: Christmas DP, Real Red, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Ink: Black, Old Olive
Accessories: Markers, Eyelets, Ribbon

This next card is for the TLC (Technique Challenge). The technique was called Penciled Twinks. We had to use watercolor pencils, twinkling H2O's and an aquapainter. And in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we needed to use pink. This card and the one I did today will be donated to Cards For A Cause which this month is Chemo Angels.

Supplies-
Stamps: Words Of Wisdom, (flower set from TAC, don't remember the name)
Paper: Pretty In Pink, Pixie Pink, Orchid Opulence
Ink: Black Staz-on
Accessories: Twinkling H@O's, Watercolor Pencils,Aquapainter, Cuttlebug, Swirls EF

This one is for the CC (Color Challenge). This week the challenge of course included pink. It was Pink Pirouette (or pretty in pink)Kiwi Kiss (or old olive)Chocolate Chip> I don't have the In Colors so I used the alternates. On this I also used the Stay Put Bow technique found here.

Suuplies-
Stamps: Garden Silhouettes, Hugs & Wishes
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Ink: Stampin Write Markers, Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, Pretty In Pink
Accessories: Ribbon,

And now for the blog candy, in honor of 12,000 veiws to my blog. What can you win?

An assortment of rub-ons, magic mesh, stickers, and of course and assortment of Christmas Cards ready for you to use for you send out this Christmas (will come with envelopes for the cards).

How can you win this? Well, you only need to post a comment telling me what your favorite Holiday is. Do this by midnight November 3rd. I will draw a winner on the 4th using random.org and post here. Then I will mail out this fun package to the winner. Why so long to post comments? Cause that is when I get back from my vacation.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It has all the elements of Christmas -food, family, fun, relaxation, etc-- without all the commercial hype. More my style!

Congratulations on your 12.000! That's awesome!
I love the 4 weeks for Christmas, here in Germany it's Advent. Every Sunday we are lighting a candle more on the wreath. In this time we are baking little places, we are making little presents and we are singing many Christmas songs.
Thanks for the chance to win.

Easter is my favorite because of the special meaning of Christ..also not as much running from one house to the next...

Beautiful cards!!
My fave holiday is Halloween! I go crazy with everything Halloween-y. I make tons of cards, put lots of decorations up and just totally love handing out candy to the little trick or treaters! I think I love it more than my two young boys!

I like Christmas the most! It's also the one we celebrate the most: sending cards, decorating our house, family getting together, special dinner, etc.
Thanks for a chance to win! Greetings from Belgium, Annelies

Super cute cards! My fave holiday is Halloween, because it is the current one! Every Halloween we get together at my parent's house. Grandpa takes the kids trick or treating and we have homemade root beer, chili, and breadsticks. This year I am going to try to make them in the shape of bones. And we are going to have a pumpkin cake made from two bundt cakes one inverted on top of the other. As if we needed more sugar. I try to enjoy the moment. Looking forward to seeing you!!!!

My favorite holiday..... aside from my birthday because that is a holiday you know.... Is Christmas. I love the lights and the christmas tree's I love going to temple square and seeing the beautiful lights. I love that for the most part everyone around me seems to be in the spirit of what Christmas really is, Giving. I am a giver and Christmas is a great time to remember giving is better than receiving. Happy Holidays!!!

My favorite holiday has always been Christmas. I love when the kids first wake up and see what Santa brought them. Now it is even more special because my oldest daughter is in college. I miss her tremendously and can't wait to have her home for the holiday!

Thank you so much for sharing the stay put bow. I used it to create a birthday card for my friend. I know that I will be using this technique a lot. Linda
